Mission
The mission of Project Sunshine at NYIT is to provide opportunities for undergraduate students to bring joy and play to pediatric patients in the hospital. Also, this club aims to alleviate the stress that pediatric patients and their families experience in the hospital environment by providing free services such as in-person volunteering, sending sunshine activity kits, arts and crafts, telePlay, and more. The ultimate goal is to improve the physical, social, and emotional well-being of patients while transforming hospitals into joyful environments. Project Sunshine is dedicated to spreading happiness, raising awareness, and providing support to pediatric patients and their families facing medical difficulties.

Joining Project Sunshine provides undergraduate students at NYIT with a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of pediatric patients and their families.
