NSBE's mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.

Membership Benefits
Students that become members of NSBE get the opportunity to receive a plethora of benefits through the membership. First, students get the chance to attend events for both professional and technical development. During some of these events they may even be offered the chance for personal development and growth and the chance to just network and meet other like-minded students on campus. When they become members on the national level, they get access to hundreds of scholarships and the opportunity to attend conferences where they can network and possibly obtain jobs or internships.
