The Grizzly Cupboard, New York Institute of Technology’s food pantry—is a welcoming, inclusive, and confidential on-campus location that offers free, wholesome, and healthy nonperishable food items. The food and resource pantries serve as a tool for student success and wellbeing. By providing access to non-perishable and frozen food items as well as toiletry and household products, students will gain access to the resources they need to lead healthy and successful academic lives. The Grizzly Cupboard food and resource pantries serve as a supplemental program and should be utilized in conjunction with regular food purchase and/or other resources and government programs (where applicable).

New York Institute of Technology's Bear Bytes initiative provides food and other health and wellness resources and information to students at our New York campuses. A collaborative effort among campus partners—New York Tech Campus Dining Services, Student Engagement and Development, School of Management Student Advisory Board, Office of the Bursar, and community resources—Bear Bytes promotes and supports proper nutrition and wellness that are essential to academic success

The Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) was created to assist students who because of financial and academic hardships would otherwise be unable to earn a college degree. Students admitted to HEOP receive financial and academic support services. Sponsored jointly with the State of New York, HEOP helps New York Institute of Technology to achieve its mission of providing educational opportunity to all qualified students.
