Mission
The Office of Residence Life at New York Institute of Technology will provide a positive living/learning environment for our resident students. We will provide a safe, clean living environment staffed by trained, caring paraprofessional and professional personnel. The staff will act as teachers, mentors, and role models to foster principles of effective communication, ethical behavior, sense of community, and service for all resident students.

The Office of Residence Life will create a living/learning environment where the worth and dignity of each individual is held paramount. We will foster an environment where mutual respect and appreciation exists in our diverse community.

Through creating such environments, we will assist our students in managing their lives better, both during and after college.
