Yoga Session for senior citizens: It gives inner mental peace and energizes the body along with many other health benefits. This initiative promotes mental well-being and provides a creative outlet for expression. A knowledge session will be incorporated, focusing on traditional wellness techniques that contribute to managing health in old age.

Assist in multiple area of a soup kitchen/donation warehouse

Join our donation drive to make a meaningful impact! We're collecting professional attire and essential foods to support individuals in need. Your contributions will empower them with the tools for success and ensure they have basic necessities. Together, let's make a difference in our community.

DIY! Go to your local park and clean it up! A few moments of effort by many people makes a world of difference for those who go to enjoy our parks!

Collect Book donations from the campus community - Learning Center staff will then box received books up and donate them to the Book Fairies organization. Acceptable donations: all age books in good condition, from baby through adult, published in the last 20 years. We also accept college-level textbooks published within the past 10 years. We do not accept encyclopedias, magazines, CDs, DVDs, or faith-based books.

Interact with current college students who are pursuing degrees in these creative fields. Ask Questions in Real Time and Gain valuable insights into the academic journey, career prospects, and practical experiences related to architecture, interior design, and digital art.

Spring cleaning throughout gardens, consisting of raking, weeding, mulching and pruning.

Vancouver students signing up for slots to work in local food bank

Sorting various books to be packaged and given to Title One schools and their teachers. Please sign up for a shift through bookfairies.org on their job calendar.

Come to the CSEE Office to recieve cardmaking materials and directions to make thoughful, handcrafted birthday/holiday cards for older adults!

Vancouver students annual cleaning of the beach near English Bay

New York Tech students, faculty, and staff will visit Cap Prep in Harlem from 11-1:30. From 11-12 New York Tech students will chat with juniors and seniors (56) about the college experience. All student, faculty, staff are welcome to participate.

Students faculty, and staff will help with the New York Tech garden clean up for spring planting.
12:00 PM – 12:45 PM
A lecture outlining Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and its co-morbid conditions. This will also have a Q&A opportunity.

Pack brown bag lunches with inspirational sayings to distribute around the city.

Members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and BSU will engage the NYIT community across the NYC campus on the importance of voting and being engaged for the upcoming election.

Join our calming and engaging photowalk through central park! This will be a great way to casually enjoy an afternoon with friends, fellow students, and others who also enjoy photography. You can also opt to be more intentional and compete for a chance to win a photo competition. You can submit your top photo by the end of the day on April 10.

Come to the Gym and donate blood with the NY Blood Center! Please eat or grab some snacks at the drive before you donate. This event is part of Community Engagement Day.
