The Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) was created to assist students who because of financial and academic hardships would otherwise be unable to earn a college degree. Students admitted to HEOP receive financial and academic support services. Sponsored jointly with the State of New York, HEOP helps New York Institute of Technology to achieve its mission of providing educational opportunity to all qualified students.

The American Red Cross provides training and certification courses for CPR, First Aid, and other emergency response skills. We, the students of the Black Student Union at the New York Institute of Technology were established in 2017 and we strive to promote, educate, and exemplify the rich cultural heritage and unique diversity of the people of the African Diaspora. This will be accomplished through various programs, forums, and presentations throughout the year.
