The purpose of the Student Government Association shall be to respond to and resolve, to the best of its ability, those issues or concerns that are expressed by members of the student body. We, the undergraduate Student Government Association, shall provide leadership that will ensure the students' voices will be heard and considered at New York Institute of Technology.

The NYC Campus Activities Board's purpose is to provide for the New York Institute of Technology NYC community inclusive and engaging programming for the NYC New York tech community. CAB will meet this mission by:

1. Organizing programs and events that fit the needs and interests of the NYC Campus Community
2. Collaborating with other organizations to help them create events for the community.
3. Planning programming with a focus on inclusion and equity to ensure that events are accessible and welcoming to all.
